The Cleaning.com platform was initially developed under the ExpressionEngine Content Management System from EllisLabs. Over time, it became apparently that in-house development was vital as resource responsiveness and flexibility to adapt, launch and test integrated marketing campaigns necessitated the need to exercise greater control over the end product, and expedite development turnaround times.

How I Helped
As a self-taught web design and WordPress developer, I became immersed in the WP ecosystem while learning HTML & CSS to complement limitations in the technology stack used.
Borrowing data modeling and architectural principles from my experience in Business Intelligence / Data-warehousing, I rebuilt Cleaning.com from scratch by re-platforming it from EE to WordPress on top of a custom technology stack carefully curated to ensure system-wide compatibility.
This technical framework allowed me to programmatically create a hyper-targeted information architecture, on-page sales copy and implement SEO best-practices resulting in more relevancy for their intended audience: improving both supply- and demand-side labor conversions.
